Build a connection with your audience
using authentic imagery

Whether you need product shots or head shots, it is essential for all of your photographs to match your message. For an online business, your images have a huge impact on the connection needed for your audience to remember you and want to work with you. You can organise a one off shoot, or consider a wider strategy to build an image library of photos that you can use across a number of platforms. Take a look at some of my case studies to see how I have collaborated with businesses to elevate their brand.

shoots I

I will come to your place of work or to take your headshots. These can be of you in situ or I can set up my mini studio with a backdrop. If you want to mix things up a bit for your team photos, I have joined businesses on a day out to capture team building at on location. This helps to add a certain style and aesthetic depending on where you go. Its also a great way of getting natural and authentic images.

This type of shoot can last half a day, or can span across a number of days. I will work with with you prior to the shoot to create an extensive shot list so I can start to build your image library. This might include meetings, headshots, team days, manufacturing and anything that is driven by a specif need. You will have a range of photos that your marketing department can use across different platforms. Finally, my aim is to create imagery that looks authentic, and not too corporate!

This is one of my favorite kinds of shoot as I love visual storytelling. Whether you craft with your hands, or if your business is focused on a service with less tangible products, a behind the scenes shoot will provide you with a wide variety of images you can use to connect with your audience across your website and also social media platforms. I have blogged one of these shoots here.

I feel right at home in the middle of a busy shoot with models, hair and make up and stylists creating wonderful work for me to photograph! It is a real joy collaborating from the concepting stage to delivering the final images. I get great satisfaction when the photographs land and clients are super excited to sell their wares online or to promote their brand. I find product shoots equally as exciting. A simple e-commerce shoot, or more complex lifestyle product shoots are essential to elevate the brand and drive more sales. We can shoot in the studio, on location. Find out more about my distanced product shoots if you would like to post your products for me to shoot for you.

Luminary 2, a creative marketing agency in Dallas invited me over for a four day corporate lifestyle shoot with an exciting brief. As a new startup, they needed a vibrant content library to showcase the personality of the company and it’s two founders Nick Askew and Krista Johnson. An important aspect of creating images for the team that works remotely across the US, was to ensure their library wasn’t too corporate.  Their philosophy is to  be the non-agency, agency. A few rooftop bars and an immersive art exhibition later, we emerged with loads of content to fill their social media feeds and new website. Two years later and two more trips to Texas, and I am thrilled to still be shooting for them as their team grows.

Grey Suit Clay is a Sheffield based artist specialising in hand crafted ceramic homeware. The work takes inspiration from plants, minerals and the natural properties of the materials used. For our collaborations, we shoot a mixture of product and lifestyle shots to showcase the beautiful pieces. The images are then used for the  Grey Suit Clay online store, instagram and for printed marketing. I have shot the last three collections and I am in awe of the craft that goes into making this work. I am also now an avid collector and have many pieces in my possession!

Beth Pegler is a textile and jewellery designer using the old age art of knot making to create contemporary pieces of wearable jewellery. Her colour combos and styling always make our collaborations look insanely stylish, and I look forward to our shoots every new season. We work as a small team and the following work also includes the talents of Jenn Edwards on hair and makeup. If you are looking for a shoot that requires models, hair and makeup and you don’t know where to start, I can help you put something together. You can see more of Beth Pegler’s work here.

Danni has helped shape our brand through her distinct and high caliber visuals. Our team feels super comfortable with her and we can’t wait for our next shoot!

I’d love to hear from you! Message me with details of your project and I’ll get right back to you.
